The Comprehensive Plan Update Project
The City of Moscow is beginning an 18 month process to update its Comprehensive Plan (The Plan). The Plan is the growth and development guide for the future of the City. The key to a successful Comprehensive Plan and the basis for this project is community input and citizen participation. This project will be based upon the premise that the community members are empowered to create the environment they desire and play an active role in increasing their quality of life.
The City has secured the services of Kendig Keast Collaborative, a planning consulting firm, to assist the City in updating the Comprehensive Plan. Representatives from Kendig Keast will visit Moscow approximately every two months over the course of the next twelve months to collect information and public input as well as work to with the Steering Committee to update the City's Comprehensive Plan.
